The Cetaceans Rescue and Rehabilitation Research Center "", aims to protect and preserve the wild marine fauna and natural environment of our country, in accordance with the International Conventions and the National Legislation and in particular, the care and rescue of any sick, injured or orphan marine mammal or sampling of dead cetaceans in order to determine the cause of their death, recording cetaceans, investigating conditions affecting their physiology and environment, as well as educating young people, informing and raising awareness of the general public and relative authorities for the improvement and implementation of International Conventions for the protection and conservation of these remarkable and sensitive creatures in their natural environment.

ARION's mission is to contribute to the global understanding and protection of the health of marine mammals (cetaceans) and their habitats, focusing on the rescue and treatment of those who strand alive or dead on the shores of our country.
