This is a one of a kind piece of wearable art made for the Five and Diamond Eighth Annual Headgear Art Show and shown on June 12, 2020.
This crown was uncovered from the depths of the Icarian Sea. Legend has it that it was bestowed to Merman Icarus when Poseidon first granted Icarus his Merman tail, as a sign of a dawn of his new life under the sea.

MATERIALS USED
Resin, superglue, gold spray paint.
WEARING INSTRUCTIONS
Best handled by the front or the back of the base of the crown. Do not try to pick up by the fins or the curved elements above the crown base. The front can either sit right in the center of the forehead or sit higher up and further back by sitting right at the hairline. If worn higher, be sure the back of the base rests firmly against the back of the skull. This piece is meant to be worn by either gender.
